OK... you can tell, I haven't been adding many cakes to the photo stream or many new posts to the blog. I am officially laying down the piping bag full time and stepping away from the cake biz. I am producing three other blogs that will be kept up to date with three different themes. I will be posting soon, but going full-out on the posts in August. My new blogs are: Blooming by Grace, Trea-tis-ser-rie Chick, and Journey of a Mother's Son. Thanks for the support as I begin my new adventure and thanks for viewing my cakes. If you have questions on how-to's on my cakes, I am totally up for giving out secrets :)

Keebryn's Dynamite Valentines
For Keebryn's Valentines Day party we decided to make Homemade Dynamite Valentines! They turned out totally cute. We created a template for a rectangular shaped card with
"You're Dynamite" typed on front, and printed them off the computer.

Keebryn's Big 7th Birthday!
For Keeb's 7th B-day, we visited the Elk in Cataloochee Valley in NC. He loved the elk and had never been so close to something with horns that big :) The party cake and gifts were displayed in the upstairs of an old barn and the weather was perfect for an awesome view. We had an amazing time... God truly blessed us all with an awesome 7 year old named Keebryn and a great time to celebrate!

World Missions Cake-Off
The World Missions Cake-Off is a raffle that took place at Berea Church in Asheville. Myself along with five other cake designers, designed cakes to be auctioned on October 11th. All of the proceeds from the auction went to Mission Haiti. There were seven cakes and a quilt raffled for the cause. This turned out to be a great success for Christ! Thank you Jehovah! The cakes were donated by:
Courtney Vess King from Swannanoa
Lateasa Hildebran from Johnson City, TN
Cynthia Morales from Asheville
Vicki Gass from Asheville
Krystal Murphy from Old Fort
Demetria from Black Mountain
You don't have to travel to another country to affect a person of need in another country! Thank you to all cake decorators and the quilt donator! The quilt was a double wedding ring quilt, handmaid in 1983 by the donators grandmother! Six of the seven cakes are pictured here (one we didn't get a picture of):
